Although these regional meetings are smaller in scale than the Global Privacy Summit, they provide excellent networking and learning opportunities.
Other events hosted by the IAPP include virtual summits on topics such as privacy law, new technology, cloud computing, data protection, and more. These summits are timely, addressing current topics and providing guests with the most up-to-date information from industry professionals. Previous summits that have been well-attended include the Privacy Leath Takedown Summit, the Do Not Track Summit, and the AdTech Summit.
The IAPP also offers web conferences on data privacy themes given by industry experts, publications on data privacy best practices, career academies to help privacy professionals build their abilities, and assessments and certifications in privacy-related disciplines throughout the year.
The IAPP is a thought leader on major privacy concerns, and it publishes policy studies, legal guidelines, and other documents to assist professionals and organizations in staying current on industry developments. It is a pioneer in privacy compliance, providing tools, resources, and training to assist its member firms in remaining compliant with all relevant requirements.
